Fundamentals of Skating

Open to youth & adults, this program will help athletes to advance their skating skills and will focus on moving forward, backward, turning, and stopping on ice. With skating being a specialized skill, it is important that participants joining the program have some experience on skates, can be independent on the ice, and do not require one-on-one assistance. To join this program, participants must be able to do the following independently on the ice – take a minimum of 5 steps forward on the ice, and return to a standing position from the ice on their own without assistance.

This year we have split the program into two sessions! You can register for one or both!
